Job Description:
Volt is hiring an Aerospace Quality Engineer in Chatsworth, CA
with an industry leader who manufactures high-technology, and
high-reliability circuit boards, High-density interconnect, RF
circuitry and Thermal Management systems for the aviation, defense
and space industries.

As an Aerospace Quality Engineer, you will:
Manage the company's quality systems in support of achieving zero
escapes and continuously improving manufacturing yields.
Provide timely resolution to customer inquiries.
Returned Material Authorization (RMA) coordination and
disposition.
Corrective Action Report (ICAR, CCAR, SCAR) generation and
coordination.
Perform scheduled internal quality system audits to support AS9100
and Nadcap requirements.
Maintain quality procedures (QP's) and work instructions (QAI's and
PCM's) to conform to all applicable customer requirements, industry
standards and registration systems.
Maintain all required certifications: AS9100; Nadcap; IPC-6012;
IPC-6013; IPC-6018; MIL-PRF-55110; MIL-PRF-50884; MIL-PRF-31032;
IPC-1710; UL.
Follow all environmental, health and safety policies, guidelines
and regulations.
This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
Minimum 5 years experience in Aerospace manufacturing or similar
industry
Minimum 3 years in Quality Assurance / Quality Control
disciplines.
IPC-A-600 and IPC-A-610 certifications.
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and Certified Quality Auditor
certifications preferred.
General understanding of Discus and Net Inspect software for
generating first article reports.
Understanding of current IPC, military and customer specifications
and requirements.
Understanding of quality and statistical measurements, including
SPC, DOE, Cpk, MSA, GR&R, etc.
Salary: 85-100K annually
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
