dynamic team as a Consulting Hospital Customer Service
Representative in the Healthcare industry. This role provides a
unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with acute inpatient
hospital experience to provide high-quality customer service to
patients and their families, while also consulting on various
hospital procedures and policies. This position requires a strong
understanding of UB40, EPIC, and call center customer service

Responsibilities: As a Consulting Hospital Customer Service
Representative, you will be responsible for: 1. Providing
exceptional customer service to patients and their families,
answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and
professional manner. 2. Utilizing your knowledge of UB40 and EPIC
to consult on various hospital procedures and policies. 3. Working
in a fast-paced call center environment, handling multiple calls
and inquiries simultaneously. 4. Assisting patients with the
admission and discharge process, explaining policies, procedures,
and services in a clear and concise manner. 5. Coordinating with
medical staff to ensure patient needs are met and that they are
receiving the highest level of care. 6. Maintaining patient
confidentiality and adhering to all HIPAA regulations. 7.
Contributing to the development and implementation of new customer
service protocols and procedures to enhance patient satisfaction.
Qualifications: To be considered for the Consulting Hospital
Customer Service Representative position, you must possess the
following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in
a hospital setting, preferably in an acute inpatient environment.
2. Extensive knowledge of UB40 and EPIC systems. 3. Proven
experience in a call center customer service role, with the ability
to handle multiple calls and inquiries simultaneously. 4.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the
ability to explain complex procedures and policies in a clear and
concise manner. 5. High level of organization and attention to
detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
effectively. 6. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and the
importance of patient confidentiality. 7. A compassionate and
empathetic approach to customer service, with a genuine desire to
improve patient satisfaction. 8. A degree in healthcare
