Research is seeking a Bilingual Research Assistant
(English/Spanish) to support survey research projects within our
Aging & Disabilities, Aging Services team. Reporting to the
Research Manager, youll assist with data collection, processing,
and reporting, playing a key role in ensuring accuracy,
confidentiality, and timely deliverables. This role requires strong
time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work
independently while building positive working relationships. This
position follows a Los Angelesbased hybrid schedule, with
approximately three days in the office, the remainder remote, and
occasional field visits (up to 5%) based on project needs. About
the Role The Research Assistant supports research and evaluation
projects by assisting with data collection, data management, and
administrative coordination. This role plays a key part in ensuring
research activities are conducted accurately, ethically, and on
schedule. The ideal candidate is punctual, detail-oriented,
organized, technically savvy, and comfortable working both
independently and as part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Collaboration Support the project lifecycle
and team communication Coordinate logistics, meetings, and
stakeholder/client interactions Schedule interviews and
take/distribute meeting notes Data Collection & Management Assist
with surveys, interviews, focus groups, and quality assurance calls
Enter, audit, and correct data to ensure accuracy and integrity
Document processes and procedures Survey & Research Support Assist
with the preparation of interview and survey questions, program and
test surveys Assist with the development and formatting of training
materials, reports, and newsletters Technical & Field Support
Manage tablets, laptops, and software used in field operations
Provide technical support and communicate with field staff Create
data maps using mapping software Administrative & Operational
Support Perform filing, note-taking, and research tasks Coordinate
printing/mailing of materials and audit staff expenses and process
invoices Provide additional project support as assigned
Qualifications Reside in the greater Los Angeles area with the
ability to work on-site and remotely Fluent in English and Spanish
(reading, writing, speaking) Bachelors degree in social science or
a related field 1 year of relevant administrative, research, or
coordination experience preferred Proficiency in using Microsoft
Office, especially Excel Strong communication and interpersonal
skills; able to relate to diverse populations Highly organized with
the ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain accurate records
Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work
independently and collaboratively Committed to data security and
privacy protocols Valid drivers license, reliable transportation,
