SUMMARY: The Regional Sales Director is responsible for the revenue growth and profitability of the Seek Americas region. The Sales Director will drive revenue growth by closing direct OEM technology partnership with key targeted manufactures in markets like but not limited to: Automotive, test & measurement, industrial, mobile, IoT, outdoor, HVAC, Fire & Safety, etc. The Sales Director will also be responsible for driving revenue through new and existing Seek branded channel partners throughout the region. This role will likely be home based and lead a small team of regional sales managers throughout the region.This is a player coach role and will require the sales director to manage multiple key accounts, generate new business and provide a leadership and management presence to a small team of sales managers. The Sales Director will be the face of the Seek brand with our OEM technology partners, dealers/distributors and Seek branded end-users executing and managing all sales, training and marketing efforts for Seek Thermal.RESPONSIBILITIES: Territory to be covered is the Americas. Meet and exceed the assigned sales goals for the territoryIdentify and target key OEM partners that can utilize Seek technologies in their own branded productsWork closely with your Seek team to project manage OEM sales cycles integrating technology solutionsEvaluate and appoint new dealer & distribution channels as required. Motivating and working with the distributors to drive demand of Seek branded productsQualify new distribution/integration channels in depth by evaluation of the candidates through extensive market research, including contact via telephone, mail, personal contact, on-site visits, trade shows etc.Set up and agree sales goals for the region and your sales teamProvide daily updates to Seek Thermal's CRM system and any other reporting process required by SeekManage and lead Americas sales organization to exceed sales goals and objectivesConduct sales training and product training sessions for distributors and dealersUnderstand and secure OEM technology partner contracts with a high level of detail and accuracySupport the VP of Global Sales in delivering Seek growth goals, with an outcome of meeting or exceeding monthly/quarterly/annual activity initiativesDevelop and manage demand-generating marketing activities, i.e., customer promotional events, trainings, trade shows, etc.Recruit, train, and manage manufacturer representative partners, dealers and distributors in the assigned territory to ensure delivery of sales targetsWork with customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needsCommunicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholdersDevelop and track key customer metricsUp to 75% Travel requiredSKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:Experience with long sales cycles of technology that integrates into large OEM partners is preferredAbility to sell a solution and project manage a long sales cycle of over 12 monthsSelling into the following industries/markets: Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, Fire & Safety, HVAC, Amazon, Test & MeasurementStart up experience. Wearing multiple hats and working independently to get stuff done remotely.Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detailExcellent listening, negotiation and presentation skillsChannels sales experience a plusExcellent verbal and written communications skillsExperience managing budgets, forecasts and delivering resultsStrong CRM, spreadsheet, PowerPoint and computer skills requiredStrong ability to prospect for new business and research new marketsA high degree of self-initiative and integrity requiredSales professional that builds strong relationships based on trust and delivering on commitmentsExperience in selling to industrial, thermal or imaging a plusExperience managing a channel selling technology products/hardware a plusAbility to learn complex technologies quicklyAbility to combine a high degree of technical knowledge with good sales and communication skills.Talented in writing proposals, giving presentations on company products and services, performing system demonstrations, forecasting and closing transactionsHave the ability to identify, qualify and capture long term businessAbility to work cross-functionally with ease and build relationships with key internal stakeholders.
