Overview:
Our client is a well-established consulting engineering firm that is a leader in the Southern California market. They are currently seeking a Senior Plumbing Engineer to join their growing team within the Long Beach market!
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with customers to create designs, calculate constructions, and select appropriate installation equipment and systems
  
• Serve as lead Engineer on projects
  
• Perform routine inspection of all equipment and components, and assist in fabrication if needed
  
• Evaluate all design drawings according to required quality regulations
  
• Responsible for performing quality assurance reviews on projects
  
• Draft technical documents
  
• Provide training and mentoring to junior engineering staff
  
  Requirements:
  
  
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in plumbing design
  
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree
  

• 
  
• EIT or PE are a bonus
  
  
• Experience on healthcare projects
  
• Experience in conceptual and detailed design for new-construction and TI projects is required
  
• Must have a thorough knowledge of plumbing design and corresponding terminology
  
• AutoCAD and REVIT software experience
