where we work, and so can you. What We're Looking For Under the
general direction of the Director of Manufacturing Engineering,
Manufacturing Technician will be primarily responsible for keeping
production lines running at peak efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES: -
The Manufacturing Technician will respond to Production Support
Alerts, working with line leads and supervisors to understand
issues on the line and conduct root cause, and corrective actions
to minimize downtime. - Troubleshooting failures, fixing/recovering
failures and finding preventative measures to lower the failure
rate. - Act as an additional assembly resource as needed on the
production line. - Set up new test computers and assist mechanical
engineers with modifying fixtures or parts - Assist electrical
engineers with special projects (i.e. soldering and wiring circuit
boards), assembling test stations and various other duties as
required - Help create, implement, and maintain procedures and
processes - Perform routine production line maintenance, including
assembling, repairing, and replacing fixtures. - Ensure and monitor
production line equipment quality, availability, and calibration.
SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: - Technical capacity including:
Computer skills and basic circuit design/function. - Excellent
troubleshooting skills, quickly able to differentiate between
hardware, OS, and software root causes of failures. Ability to
articulate evidence for each in a clear, concise manner. - Problem
solving/analysis and ability to make decisions that will affect
throughput - Excellent Win10 OS troubleshooting skills, CompTIA A+
or experience equivalent. - Able to work under a microscope to
inspect and/or repair PCB's and wire-bonds - Must be skilled at
soldering (recent IPC certification is a plus) - Ability to adapt
well to changes in procedures and production lines - Must be able
to use a computer and be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel -
Mechanical aptitude and fine motor skills - Communicate clearly
both written and orally with assemblers and engineersRequirements:
- Minimum High School Graduate or GED. Graduate from a technical
school desired - Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a technician in
