Job Description:

Description: Under the general direction of the Production Supervisor, this position will be primarily responsible for processing returns and repairing Seek Thermal products, while adhering to the Seek Thermal Quality and Acceptability standards and processes. RESPONSIBILITIES: -- Process and repair failures from the customero Work with Shipping/Receiving to take in repairs and ship out working producto Confirm failure modes, analyze issues, fix/recover problemso Organize customer-owned material through various stages of the repair processo Assist in identifying preventative measures to lower defect rates-- Document warranty and repair activitieso Provide failure reports for customer repair cost estimateso Update RMA line entries in SEEK's MRP system with cause and status information-- Perform other duties as directed by the Production Supervisor or Director of ManufacturingSKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:-- Technical capacity including computer skills and basic circuit analysiso Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with NetSuite is a pluso Able to read and understand electronic schematics and mechanical drawingso Able to use a wide variety of electronic measurement tools (including digital multi-meter, oscilloscope, etc.) and schematics to analyze circuit behavior and identify failed components-- Mechanical dexterity and visual acuityo Able to use fingers and small hand tools for disassembly and assembly of electronic systems.o Able to work under a microscope to inspect and document failure modes-- A clear understanding of ESD and the use of ESD protection equipment-- Strong attention to detail-- Ability to work on a team or autonomously to achieve job/department goals-- Possess problem solving analysis skill set and the ability to make decisions that will affect customer satisfaction and product quality-- Soldering skills desired, but not requiredRequirements:-- Minimum High School Graduate or GEDo Graduate from a technical school preferred-- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RMA or Test Technician in same or similar field, or 4 years assembly experience with imaging productso Experience with thermal imaging desiredPM18PI208387646
