POSITION OVERVIEW
Kate Farms is seeking an IT Business Analyst to identify, define,
and support the delivery of processes and solutions within the
Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (ERP) and Business Intelligence
platforms.
You will help drive the identification and scoping of solutions,
determine solution feasibility, support the development of
business/functional requirements, and work directly with
development and other technology resources to ensure the delivery
of solutions that meet agreed specifications and requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of business
processes and applications, customer needs, and priorities.
- Identify both business and technical opportunities for business
process improvement (e.g., leveraging of new features, new
integrations, optimized business process, etc.)
- Become an expert in the capabilities of current and future
software solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define and document
business requirements. This may include conducting end-user
interviews, process mapping, and other requirements-gathering
methods.
- Document functional requirements utilizing various techniques,
including use cases, data flow diagrams, process/workflow diagrams,
screen mock-ups, etc.
- Support assigned configuration or analysis activities specific
to your area of focus.
- Conduct gap analysis and downstream impact exercises for system
changes.
- Own functional delivery from end to end for assigned
projects/activities.
- Facilitate and/or participate in solution testing and related
issue management.
- Prepare assigned project and end-user documentation, system
configuration documentation, and related technical reports.
- Manage engagement with third-party vendors.
- Work cross-functionally with peers to identify opportunities
across systems and/or shared workflows.
- Drive and/or participate in end-user training and stakeholder
reviews specific to your area of focus.
- Perform data migration of financial, operations, and sales data
onto the Business Central Platform
- Administer system setup of users along with system permissions
and functionality. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
Management.
- 5+ years of implementing and/or supporting Microsoft Dynamics
NAV/Business Central ERP. At least one full end-to-end
implementation of Business Central is required.
- 7+ years of Operations or Finance-Accounting experience, or
experience with supporting Operations or Finance-Accounting in a
Business Analyst role.
- Working knowledge of data and process mapping and modeling
methodologies.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft
Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or like solutions.
- Proven experience in software evaluation, selection, and
implementation.
- Experience with supporting back-office systems focused on
financial/operational business functions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact
with persons of various social, cultural, and educational
backgrounds.
- Strong written, analytical, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to drive the definition of improvements based on
business needs.
- Familiarity with agile development practices and
methodologies.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a
fast-paced, high-pressure matrixed environment.
- Ability to conduct research into systems issues and solutions
as required.
- Ability to present ideas and data to varied audiences at all
levels of the organization.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to
detail.
- Comfortable working in a skilled technical environment with
rapid changes in direction and environment.
- Strong understanding of operational and business
workflows.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving,
troubleshooting, and resolution skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of systems development lifecycle
including business analysis, requirements development, cost-benefit
analysis, change management, process reengineering, use cases, user
acceptance testing, data migration, user training, and ongoing
systems support.

we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles
that will be, or could be performed in Colorado. If the position
applied to is not located in Colorado, the following information
may not apply. Salary Minimum: $ 110,232 Salary Maximum $141,342.
The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the
Kate Farms salary range for this position. This range will vary and
may be above or below the range based on various factors, including
but not limited to location, experience, internal pay alignment,
and performance. The range listed is just one component of Kate
Farms' total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may
include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
