Job Description:

Local Goleta manufacturing company is looking for a test technician to join their team. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of Quality and the ability to maintain attention to detail, along with mechanical dexterity and visual acuity.



Location: Goleta (Onsite)

Pay: $25



RESPONSIBILITIES:

--- Process and repair failures from the customer

o Work with Shipping/Receiving to take in repairs and ship out working product

o Confirm failure modes, analyze issues, fix/recover problems

o Organize customer-owned material through various stages of the repair process

o Assist in identifying preventative measures to lower defect rates



--- Document warranty and repair activities

o Provide failure reports for customer repair cost estimates

o Update RMA line entries in SEEK---s MRP system with cause and status information



--- Perform other duties as directed by the Manufacturing Supervisor or Director of Manufacturing



SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

--- Technical capacity including computer skills and basic circuit analysis

--- A clear understanding of ESD and the use of ESD protection equipment



QUALIFICATIONS: (Education and experience)

--- Minimum High School Graduate or GED

o Graduate from a technical school preferred

--- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RMA or Test Technician in same or similar field, or 4 years assembly experience with imaging products

o Experience with thermal imaging desired
