social justice causes and campaigns. What you'll be doing: The
Account Manager (Client Service/Partnership Development hybrid)
will be responsible for the following duties, in addition to
others, as assigned at the discretion of the President, Managing
Director, the Division Leader, or other designated
supervisors/managers. These duties are subject to updates at the
discretion of the President and Managing Director, at any time.
Ideal candidates have five years of experience in cause-based
marketing or sales, a passion for policy and social justice, deep
familiarity or experience within the Labor Movement such as working
with unions or related entities. The candidate should have a
positive, can-do attitude, demonstrate exceptional multi-tasking
and detail-oriented capabilities. Strong writing skills are a must
and there will be a written skills test as part of the application
process for finalists. Candidates must demonstrate a working
knowledge of integrated marketing campaigns and how various PR,
marketing, advertising, and digital tactics can fit together to
ensure success for clients. This position will require following
rigorous systems for client and prospective client follow-up. This
position will require rigorous project management skills. This job
will be initially stationed in California (Los Angeles or San
Francisco). Client Management Problem solver Clients receive a
response within 2 hours Develop and track work plans Take detailed
notes in internal meetings, as well as client calls and meetings,
in the absence of an Account Executive Ensures all to-dos are
logged into basecamp within the same business day Leads on
coordinating assignments, including assigning to-do's, liaising w/
vendors, receiving necessary approvals, and ensuring tasks are
completed and deadlines are met without exception Prepares agendas
for client meetings and sends to the client once approved by SAM
Prepares a material presentation of recent and upcoming work for
client meetings and calls Sends recap / to-dos following client
meetings Developing Strategy Ability to turn strategy into a
detailed work plan Proactively offer tactical ideas Writing / Press
/ Websites Provides strong drafts that are carefully proofread and
error-free Ensures press lists are developed and maintained Digital
platforms included in scope (client website, social, blog, campaign
pages) are updated proactively, systemically with relevant content,
events, press releases, press clips, and more Consumer of news
Ensures clips are identified and circulated to clients in real time
Advertising Ensure all client advertising plans stay on schedule
and deliver results through well-written and visually appealing
content Work with team members including designers to ensure
reports are produced in a timely way for clients on the outcome of
advertising expenditures, or on upcoming advertising plans
as-needed Marketing and Partnership Development Collaborate on
proposals and case studies for business development Create business
agreements and scopes of work for potential clients Draft
presentations, proposals, scopes and budgets that conform with
Agency boilerplate whenever possible Work team to manage the
Agency's HubSpot account Assist with coordinating meetings with
potential clients Research conventions, events and other
opportunities for 617MediaGroup to present as experts and thought
leaders within the industry Represent the Agency at trades shows
and industry networking events, as needed Participate in PD
meetings Staff Management Manages Account Executives and Interns to
develop their skills and expand staff capacity, as assigned
Internal Adhere to file server and agency system protocols
Consistently and rigorously tracks time Has all materials printed
or onscreen prepared before the start of every internal, client,
and partnership development meeting All employees in this position
are expected to retain a valid driver's license and a purchased or
leased automobile for personal transportation to work events with a
valid inspection sticker. If this expectation will create an

salary offer for this position is $71,893. Starting salary offer
amounts are furnished at the discretion of the agency with
adherence to contractually guaranteed minimum pay rates and are
also based on the relevant experience level of the applicant and
