Summary of Job Duties
(Note: This summary will be used for keyword search) Under direction of the Director of Special Research Collections (SRC), manages the accessioning and processing of collections and in coordination with curators, publishes finding aids to the Online Archive of California (OAC). Implements processing guidelines and develops appropriate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UC processing policies and practices. Supervises the Archival Processing Team. Participates in financial plan preparation and grant funding efforts by creating work plans, developing budgets for processing, preservation, and digitization, and writing proposals and progress reports. Provides leadership in using specific SRC technologies, including ArchivesSpace and AEON.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least two years' experience archival appraisal, arrangement, and description. Demonstrated knowledge of archival management, theory, and practice. Expertise using ArchivesSpace. Strong writing and communication skills. Effective supervisory and organizational leadership skills. Advanced problem solving and decision making ability. Must be able to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced academic environment.

Desirable Requirements
Experience working in an academic library. Experience working in a collaborative archival environment. Familiarity with AEON and other archival electronic resources. Ability to work effectively with diverse constituents.
