Job Description:The Process and Packaging Supervisor will lead and
supervise operations within our Clean Room and Custom Direct
departments. They will directly supervise daily operations and
employees for Custom Direct, Clean Room and Labeling. Working with
limited supervision, this role will leverage experience and
judgment to meet department goals and strategic objectives while
maintaining FDA and ISO compliance. This role is responsible for
the supervision, performance, and development of the operations
team, ensuring that production goals, quality standards, and
compliance requirements are consistently met.This role is crucial
for maintaining operational excellence, fostering a culture of
accountability and promoting a high-performance team
environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Perform daily operational and technical supervision, coaching,
and performance evaluations for teams.
- Own full accountability for team attendance, engagement, and
development.
- Schedule and assign work to meet production goals, delivery
deadlines, and customer requirements while complying with
protocols, safety procedures and SOP's.
- Supervise, monitor, and improve departmental KPI's for Custom
Direct, Clean Room, and any future processes: Safety, Quality,
Delivery, and Productivity.
- Collaborate with the customer support team to serve as a
liaison between them and the manufacturing department, ensuring the
resolution of quality issues and customer claims.
- Ensure the ongoing development of processes to improve quality,
reduce cost, and increase throughput. Champion the implementation
of process improvements, investigations, resolutions, and
implementation of corrective actions using Envista Business System
best practices.
- Work with Product Management, Engineering and Manufacturing
departments to improve processes used in the manufacturing of
custom dental abutments.
- Participate in new product or service introduction
projects.
- Monitor individual performance focusing on continuous
improvement, with an emphasis on quality.
- Interface with other functional departments in complaint
handling and resolution. This is including an in-depth
investigation into complaints and developing/ documenting effective
countermeasures to prevent re-occurrence.
- Attend company product training on Digital products, including
ID Digital Product Family (scan adapters, SMARTbase, digital
analog, libraries).
- Work with R&D team for validation, testing and problem
solving of digital products.
- Ensure all equipment, software and processes are functioning
properly and use problem solving to correct issues in a timely
manner.
- Ensures highest possible product quality and adherence to the
company's quality system, ISO and/or other standards.
- Resolve all product-related issues that may arise.
- Provide an environment that promotes continuous improvement and
coordinating team communication and morale.
- Play an active role in safety issues; correct unsafe conditions
and responsible for OSHA compliance.
- Responsible for ensuring all clean room policies are followed
(gowning, hair coverings, booties, etc.)
- Achieves clean room and labeling operations operational
objectives by contributing clean room and labeling operations
information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews;
preparing and completing action plans; implementing production,
productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving
problems; completing audits; identifying trends.
- Participate in customer and FDA audits.Job Requirements:To

- Bachelor's degree preferred; a combination of education and/or
experience is acceptable.
- 5+ years' experience in a dental lab or manufacturing
environment preferred; certified Dental Technician (CDT) is a
plus.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience with a
proven track record of improving team performance.
- Proficient in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook,
PowerPoint)PREFERRED:
- Working knowledge of 3Shape or similar software or programs
used in dental labs such as exocad, Dental Wings, intraoral
scanning software, etc.
- Strong understanding of cleanroom protocols, GMP, or ISO 13485
standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering and technical drawings,
blueprints, and instructional diagrams a plus.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to
questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
- Communicate clearly with staff, customers, and other key
members in the company while maintaining a high level of
professionalism.
- Must be able to perform semi-complex math calculations.
- Strong organizations skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and

Market Salary Range:Actual compensation packages take into account
a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate,
