Job Description:
About the jobThis position is responsible for running and
maintaining all basic process and process related functions and
equipment with quality being the major concern. Be able to
effectively work in a team environment and communicate (verbal and
written) with people on a professional level. Contributes to
overall department production goals, maintains a clean and safe
work environment. Finally, follows all safety procedures as stated
in GMP, safety standards, plant rules, and code of ethics. This
role is onsite. The hourly rate is $22.25 Hr. About youEnsure all
documentation (written or electronic) is filled out in a clear,
legible, and accurate format and completed with all required
information as needed, when needed Basic knowledge of tear-down,
set-up, monitoring, operation, changeover and cleaning applicable
to processing line, equipment, and provide quality inspections on
all related items to include but not limited to, weight checks,
compliance with product specs, etc. Ensure basic clean and inspect
standards are up to date and completed in a timely manner Maintain
basic working knowledge of all value stream equipment to include
all support equipment, make minor adjustments, changeovers and
repairs using basic tools Assist in diagnostics, repairs and
rebuilds of machines, partner with maintenance or others on
non-routine repairs and defect handling. Monitor equipment for
malfunctions and defects, notifying proper team members of
problems, repairs needed, basic assistance, and eliminating
potential threats to production through basic upkeep of equipment.
Communicate effectively and partner with supervisors and
maintenance personnel regarding recurring problems and needs for
repair Take part in utilizing the Root Cause thought process to
ensure corrective actions are sustainable Maintain communication
with other departments, management and employees and notify them of
any problems and/or concerns Utilizing continuous improvement
mindset, actively participate in identifying and correcting
opportunities to improve processes including participation in the
creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and
Work Instructions, the creation and maintenance of preventative
maintenance standards, assistance with the writing of One Point
Lessons, and participation in continuous improvement methodology
events Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and 5S methodology to
maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area, maintaining audit
ready status at all times Actively participate in Pillar activities
(i.e. Quality, Food Safety, Focused Improvement, Safety, etc.)
including but not limited to observations, inspections, and
recommendations. Works diligently to achieve line efficiency goals
Assist, train, and coach employees Supports plant production needs
and priorities to achieve plant goals Facilitate, attend and
participate in team meetings and programs Comply with all policies
and procedures All other duties as assigned or become

Experience:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 1
- 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education that would provide the level of knowledge,
skill and ability required is acceptableKnowledge, Skills and
Abilities:Knowledge:Knowledge of raw materials, production
processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for
maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
Knowledge of SAP, Redzone Knows all the safety rules, plant rules,
GMP, and code of ethics and follows them strictly at all time
Knowledge of risk of cross-contamination, basic chemical
properties, and specific information of allergens in
plantSkills:Ability to read and comprehend instructions, schedules,
ingredients, recipes, safety procedures, emergency procedures,
chemicals labels, graphs, charts, reports, and computer monitors
Ability to effectively communicate specific information using
verbal and simple hand signals to team members, leads, customers,
supervisors, and auditors in a noisy environment Ability to read,
and interpret data from charts, graphs, and instruments, and
compute rate, ratio, and percent and to identify any digressions
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to use calculator to solve basic formulas Ability to be
very precise when measuring raw materialsAbilities:Ability to apply
commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in

including: Tablets Miscellaneous equipment including: Wrench, and
other small tools Safety equipment including: smock, bump cap,
handling and safety gloves, safety glasses, face guard, hair net,
