Position Summary:

The Front Desk Receptionist is an essential member of our Team of Physicians and Clinical Staff who provide exceptional patient centered support for the full range of fertility care. The Front Desk Coordinator reports to the Practice Manager.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
  • Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues
  • Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
  • Notifying providers of patient arrivals
  • Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
  • Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records
  • Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims
  • Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders
    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information about patients, staff, and other Company business in accordance with internal HIPAA compliance guidelines. Minimum Qualifications:
      • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, and excellent customer service skills and being a team player is a must.
      • Annual influenza vaccine and COVID vaccine are required. Competencies:
        • Attention to detail and ability to multitask. Preferred Qualifications:
          • Preferred AA degree, 3+ years of relevant experience

            While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, as well as talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand and walk. The employee may lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
