Description:Toyon is seeking a talented Systems Engineer to develop, implement, and analyze algorithms used in Toyon's Autonomous Systems Team for the Asset Control, Data Fusion, and Analytical Services. The researcher would start supporting one or two areas with opportunity to participate across all areas with time. Responsibilities: Contribute to the Autonomous Systems Team vision through algorithm development and analysisAssist senior engineers and leaders with projects of significant scope that require cross-functional participationParticipate in live, virtual, and constructive experimentation eventsCommunicate and present technical results to customers in both report and presentation formatsGrow professionally to become a subject matter expert in the field of autonomous systemsRequirements:Bachelor's or advanced degree in an Engineering, Physics, Math, or Computer Science programWorking level skills in the development and/or implementation of advanced algorithms for estimation and control systems.Able to work both independently and collaboratively on projects toward common team goalsStrong problem-solving/analytical skillsGood communication, interpersonal and presentation skillsProgramming familiarity in C++, MATLAB, or PythonU.S. Citizenship is Required.
