SUMMARY
The sorter is responsible for sorting materials such as organic material and general debris in the recycling yard.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
Manually sort material from conveyor and into designated bins.
Empty sorted material containers as needed.
Assist coworkers as needed with heavy or bulky items.
Perform duties in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
Maintain a clean work area.
Attend weekly safety meetings.
Ability to adhere to work schedule.
Must be flexible to work early and late hours depending on workload.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience: 6 months of relevant work experience
