Description:
Licensed clinicians are eligible for up to $50,000 in student loan
forgiveness because CALM is an NHSC approved site.This is an
in-person position.CALM partners with local health clinics to
provide behavioral health services to parents with children 0-17
years of age. You will work collaboratively as part of a
multi-disciplinary patient care team to provide engagement,
psychoeducation, and short-term psychotherapy in the clinic or in
the home environment. You will be a resource to the patient care
team providing case consultation, trauma-informed education, and
care coordination.Major Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate core conditions of the therapeutic relationship
including empathy, genuineness, authenticity, and unconditional
positive regard.
- Complete clinical assessment and diagnosis with clients to
assess their strengths and needs from a clinical perspective.
- Develop case conceptualization that is informed by biological,
psychological, social, cultural factors and protective factors as a
framework for the therapeutic process.
- Provide developmentally appropriate and culturally responsive
therapeutic interventions.
- Administer periodic assessments to monitor, guide, and
communicate treatment progression with clients.
- Develop a treatment plan with measurable and observable goals
in collaboration with clients.
- Coordinate with other agencies when appropriate to implement
treatment plan.
- Maintain cooperative working relationships with parents,
families, and clients.
- Participate in all evaluation activities as required.
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience: Master's or Doctorate degree required.
MSW, MFT Associates and APCC will be considered Associate Marriage
and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Social Worker (ASW),
Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), Licensed Marriage
and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker
(LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) -OR-
eligible to be registered with the CA Board of Psychology as a
Psychological Associate or Registered Psychologist 2+ years
clinical experience working with children and families
preferredQualifications:
- Bilingual preferred

- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft office and
web-based systems. Proficient in use of Zoom. Able to adapt to
using various types of software
- Proven skills in problem-solving and decision-making with good
judgment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a
multi-disciplinary team is essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively
collaborate in a positive manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to accommodate evening appointments as needed
- Must have a valid California driver's license, clean DMV record
and criminal record clearance from the DOJCALM Benefits:Our
