Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for their Birth Center.
Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital has received the prestigious international recognition as a Designated Baby-Friendly - hospital by Baby-Friendly USA Inc., the authority for implementing the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative.
We welcome 2400 new babies into the world each year. -
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree
Minimum: Current California RN license. BLS certification. Basic and or advanced Fetal Monitoring Class within the last 2 years. See addendum for additional certifications in specialty area that may be required. If working under an Interim Permit must always have an RN available as a resource on the assigned unit.
Minimum: Previous experience with medical technology/equipment as needed based on assigned patient care unit.
Preferred: Acute care experience within the last two years. Training and experience in area of expertise.
