  • Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective
  • contracts and deals.
  • Determining buys based on price, vendor reliability, and proximity while comparing and
  • evaluating other vendor offers.
  • Conducting research on potential vendors and suppliers, inspecting goods, and updating
  • records.
  • Executing purchases, including issuing POs by verifying technical specifications,
  • software, accessories, and price prior to purchase
  • Acting as the liaison between vendors, sales representatives, and the operations team to
  • follow up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
  • Sourcing for replacements when items fail testing
  • Establishing professional relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensuring all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a
  • timely manner.
  • Tracking and managing orders and ensuring timely delivery through Oracle task
  • management system
  • Expediting high-priority orders for deployment into databases based on contract
  • agreements
  • Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves errors
  • with suppliers and communicates delays to the sales representative
  • Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Proficiency in the Oracle-NetSuite management software programs.
    • Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
    • Great organizational and planning skills.
    • The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment.
    • The ability to follow client technical specifications.
    • Ability to problem solve and offer solutions for hard-to-find equipment or carrier delays
    • Excellent networking and time management skills.
    • Ability to hunt down relevant data and information internally and externally
    • High sensitivity to deadlines
    • Ability to communicate information to appropriate parties in a timely manner.
    • Ability to multitask and evaluate products and vendors
