Job Description:


The Director of EPMO is responsible for overseeing the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) to support the Chumash Project Portfolio. Manages the intake and governance processes, and helps to keep projects on scope, on time, and within budget in support of the organizational goals. The Director of EPMO will incorporate consistency, rigor, and discipline while focusing on accurate and timely portfolio reporting, collaboration with key stakeholders, promoting Project Management (PM) best practice, enhancing PM playbooks, removing impediments, and deploying and maintain a new Project Portfolio Management (PPM) platform.



* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Management, Computer Science, or related field. * Project Management Professional Certification required or able to obtain within twelve months of hire.


* Ten years of experience of business project management preferably in the hospitality and/or gaming industry.

Additional Requirement:

* Six Sigma, Change Management or other highly desirable * Proven Experience in successfully executing projects from conception to completion, managing multi-disciplined teams, conflict resolution, resource constraints, and collaboration. * Knowledge of applicable law, regulations, rules, procedures, and administration. * Requires advanced knowledge and skills in math and business complemented by robust organizational acumen. * Exceptional project management skills. * Exceptional analytical skills, and strong PC skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications. * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; collaborate effectively with cross functional partners. * Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact. * Excellent decision making and problem management skills. * Excellent strategic thinking skills and the ability to drive strategic direction. * Ability to interact effectively to ensure that project scope and requirements are clearly defined and executable. * Skillful in identifying and removing barriers to project success. * Proven partnership and influence skills. * Exceptional detail and follow-up skills. * Multi-task oriented; able to effectively establish priorities and meet deadlines. * Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action. * Ability to adapt in a growing, fast-paced organization. * Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency. * Native American hiring preference applies.
