We're revolutionizing the way people do business, and we want your ideas, your enthusiasm, and your passion to help us keep on innovating.We love where we work, and you can, too.Who Are We Looking For?A leader who can grow & manage our Public Records team while ensuring compliance with Screening policies & procedures, identifying & implementing opportunities to increase accuracy and efficiency, and meeting customer & consumer expectations.What You'll DoCreate and foster a high performing team of public record professionalsDefine & measure appropriate efficiency & quality KPIs for the Public Records team.Accurately forecast staffing needs & design a corresponding organizational structure to support business growth, seasonality, testing objectives, and quality assurance.Foster an inclusive culture and promote employee engagement.Be the expert & steward of public record data quality, always striving for improvementPerform detailed root cause analyses of accuracy errors on a monthly basis to identify opportunities to increase accuracy & work with the appropriate internal stakeholder(s) to implement changes.Establish and implement appropriate quality assurance mechanism(s) & oversight for the Public Records team & take appropriate measures to address negative findings.Assist Internal Audit with implementing an Internal Audit process for the Public Records team.Build policies and procedures to accelerate productivity while ensuring qualityFormalize training materials, onboarding processes, and processes for implementing new policies & procedures to maintain or accelerate productivity while ensuring quality.Create clear escalation processes for the Public Records team and other teams that interact & depend on Public Records.Build a deep understanding of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and how it relates to AppFolio and our tenant screening business.Develop and maintain a full understanding of the compliance requirements and risks associated with Disputes, Reinvestigations, Public Records, etc.Identify opportunities to implement enhancements to technology tools to drive operational improvements that increase accuracy and/or efficiency.Manage relationships with Public Records vendors, including end-of month cost estimates, invoice review, and annual audit.What We're Looking ForProcess Management : Looks for ways to improve processes to maximize quality & efficiency.
