Summary of Job Duties
(Note: This summary will be used for keyword search) The Test Proctor Coordinator is solely responsible for the Disabled Students Program (DSP) Test Proctoring component and online system. This position coordinates and is responsible for over 1000 exams per quarter. This is one of the most widely used accommodations and requires a significant amount of trouble shooting and maintenance experience, which is acquired through working and using the DSP System. This position also requires extensive knowledge of ADA Polices as well as Judicial Affairs policies pertaining to academic dishonesty. Ability to make critical decisions logically and quickly as well as maintain a high level of confidentiality. *LI-KA1

Minimum Requirements
Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service background. Possess strong organizational skills and be adaptable to change. Demonstrated proficiency on PC-based computers and various software programs to perform day-to-day job functions. Experience working in a fast-paced office environment, possess strong communication, organizational and record-keeping skills and have the ability to learn a large volume of information quickly and communicate information to our clientele.

Desirable Requirements
Previous University experience
Experience working with persons with disabilities.
Knowledge of UC systems i.e Gaucho Blue
Experience working with test proctoring component of Disabilities Office.
Experience public speaking and training
Advanced computer knowledge

Test Proctor Coordinator
Solely responsible for the Test Proctoring component of DSP. Acts as the departmental liaison between DSP students, faculty, and academic department's representatives in order to facilitate proctoring accommodations.

Advises faculty on procedures to ensure individual academic departments are ADA compliant. Maintains and establishes proctoring assignments for all DSP students: reviews approved services and student eligibility for special test-taking arrangements, schedules proctors and confirms all assignments. Trouble shoots problems (i.e. faculty concerns, incomplete requests, student error in schedule, proctor error and/or cancellations) consults with departments, confers with DSP Specialist and Staff to arrange for over 2500 exam requests per quarter.
