Provide recommendations on improving existing systems to boost its performance and increase efficiency. Produce detail working drawings utilizing AutoCAD. Develop concept layout and design of electronic enclosures and custom products from business customer specifications.Job Description:

• Create and revise technical documentation primarily for an Engineering function
• Attend meetings and coordinate with department colleagues as needed
• Communicate timeframes, meet deadlines, and determine resource needs
• Writes and edits technical documents including Equipment Operating Procedures, Installation and Operational Qualification protocols, Work Instructions, and other forms and templates
• Meets with internal customers and business partners to learn about specific processes and products
• Conducts independent audits to evaluate process functionality
• Adapts writing to the target audience
• Plans writing processes and sets timeframes and deadlines
• Creates diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to convey understanding of relevant processes
• Gathers feedback to improve documentation
• Other related duties as assignedQualifications:
  • Two years of technical writing experience
  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Macola or SAP experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED, two-year degree preferredLanguage Skills
    • Read and analyze existing documentation
    • Present information clearly and concisely
    • Read and interpret operating manuals, maintenance manuals, and other documentation in EnglishMathematical Skills and Reasoning Ability
      • Perform basic calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) quickly and accurately with or without a calculator
      • Apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagrammatic form
      • Ability to define requirements, determine resource needs, collect data, and draw valid conclusionsPhysical, Mental, and Emotional Demands
        • Regularly visit manufacturing areas to inspect and understand equipment and processes
        • Low-noise office environment primarily, along with occasional low- to moderate-noise manufacturing environment
        • Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
        • Sit or stand for extended periods up to eight hours per day
        • Maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor and communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
