Technical Support: TAC Agent
Technical Assistant Agents are part of a team that help supports
customers with technical issues with their service.
--- Make Outbound calls for customer support
--- Respond to incoming email requests for customer support
--- Manage tickets in an internal ticket system
--- Work as part of the team to achieve daily and monthly
performance goals formatting and completing trouble tickets for a
--- Regular and predictable on-site attendance is a requirement to
perform essential functions of this position
--- The position is entry-level, and experience is preferred.
--- A phone interview will be done with candidates prior to an
in-person interview. An in-person interview will also be required
upon passing the telephone interview.
--- A passionate problem-solving attitude
--- Desire to learn as much as possible about wide area networking
and the internet
--- Must have technical experience with the Skills section.
Skills:Technical Experience preferred with networking fundamentals
including but not limited to:
--- DSL, VOIP, Ethernet, wireless, email, switching, routing, IP
addresses, patch panel, DEMARC, PING, trace routes
--- Must have proper phone etiquette and present themselves in a
--- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry
--- Ability to troubleshoot complex networking infrastructures
Education and/or Experience:
--- Technical Experience working with the above Skills -
--- College-level education - preferred
--- Basic knowledge of networking concepts
--- Previous experience providing customer support - Preferred
