US Foods, a leader in the foodservice distribution industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resource Manager to lead our HR initiatives, fostering a conducive work environment for approximately 300,000 restaurant and foodservice partners. This role is pivotal in crafting company policies, managing human resources activities, and developing strategies that support our business and employee needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a commitment to foster a workplace culture that promotes diversity, equity, and efficiency. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues. Manage the recruitment and selection process. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Maintain pay plan and benefits program. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management. Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)
