Equivalent ExperienceManager's Notes: Will work in COVID Collection Tent performing patient check-in, registration, and collection preparation. Requesting candidates with medical office or some medical training to assist with their performance/success in the role.Serves as the primary contact for clients of PDL services. Confers with clients to obtain and provide information about the status of laboratory results and reports and resolves routine questions and issues related to specimens and testing.1. Provide excellent customer support services by responding to incoming telephone calls from medical clinics, doctors' offices, clients, and other departments requesting information on test results and services. Supports inbound calls and visitors with answers to general questions regarding PDL services.Percentage of time: 60%2. Make timely outgoing calls to follow-up on all stats and critical call results.Percentage of time: 20%3. Following established procedures, effectively resolve routine questions and problems related to specimens and testing. Refer unresolved and complex issues to Supervisor.Percentage of time: 10%4. Send reports as requested by fax, e-mail, or other method requested.Percentage of time: 5%5. Keep accurate electronic and manual records of client transactions and interactions, including recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as action plans. Prepares performance-related reports as requested. Percentage of time: 5% Skills:Receptionist, medical, scheduling, customer, service, healthcare, coordinating, lab, Health care, Customer service, Insurance verification, Patient service Top Skills Details:Customer ServiceCoordinatingClerical Support Additional Skills & Qualifications:A minimum of 2 years of related experience in client service and data entry are required.Medical/lab experience is preferred as well as coursework in the sciences.Associate's degree is preferred but not required.Bi-lingual - English/Spanish preferred not requiredMinimum: Word processing, managing electronic files and records.Years of Related Work ExperienceMinimum:Associate degree or high school diploma plus 2 years' experience in customer servicePreferred: Customer service experience in health care field.PROBLEM SOLVING AND DECISION MAKINGExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify and service multiple calls, requests, and tasks at one time while maintaining a professional manner. Ability to prioritize work.INTERPERSONAL SKILLSExcellent human relations skills to interact professionally, pleasantly, and effectively with clients in person and on the telephone.COMMUNICATION SKILLSThe employee communicates effectively.OTHERKnowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
