About the Position Are you ready to take your expertise as a
cardiovascular technologist to new heights? Join a hospital in San
Luis Obispo, CA as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive
Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your
expertise while experiencing a new region. Assist physicians and
Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and invasive
procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture crucial
images and physiologic data of the heart and vascular system. What
You'll Need: ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist. RCIS
(Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) from CCI preferred.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting. BLS
required. ACLS preferred. Fluoroscopy certification required.
Cerner charting experience required. State licensure as required by
California. Orientation: 12 hours required. Candidate must be
available for 12-hour day shifts, 3x12 schedule. Assignment
duration: 13-week travel assignment beginning 04/20/2026 and ending
07/20/2026. Hospital cancellation allowance: facility may cancel up
to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment. Assignment Details
Facility type: Hospital. Shift name: Days. Shift pattern: 12-hour
day shifts, three shifts per week. Certifications required: ARRT,
BLS, Fluoro. Charting system: Cerner. Orientation hours: 12 hours.
Candidate may be required to float within the hospital network if
requested. Location Highlights Discover San Luis Obispo and nearby

Pismo Beach and Avila Beach, within a 20–30 minute drive to coastal
waterfronts and surfing access. The city is approximately 1.5 hours

to Montana de Oro State Park and Morro Bay State Park, both within
a 20–30 mile drive for hiking, tidepool exploration, and coastal
vistas. Downtown San Luis Obispo features Mission San Luis Obispo
de Tolosa, regular farmers markets, and a compact urban core with
walkable dining and cultural venues. Lifestyle fits include a
