Encompass Health, a leader in rehabilitation services, is looking to expand our dedicated team with an experienced Speech Pathologist. In this role, you will work closely with patients recovering from major health events such as strokes and other injuries to aid in their journey towards regaining independence. You will develop customized treatment plans and work in a supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver superior care tailored to individual patient needs. Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties of patients. Plan and execute tailored treatment strategies to meet individual patient needs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and deliver patient care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Educate patients and families about communication and swallowing safety techniques. Maintain accurate records and document patient care services. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in use of speech pathology technology and tools Ability to handle complex cases Capable of developing and following through with effective treatment plans Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) State licensure as a speech language pathologist
