dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our
urgent care team on a part-time basis, providing exceptional
patient care during weekends and holidays. This role is ideal for
professionals who desire a flexible schedule while contributing to
high-quality care during our peak service hours. You will be an
essential part of our dynamic team, ensuring that patients receive
prompt and effective treatment during busy periods.
Responsibilities Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations
during weekend and holiday shifts by gathering patient histories,
identifying symptoms, and performing diagnostic tests. Diagnosis &
Treatment: Diagnose and manage a range of acute, chronic, and
preventive care scenarios, ensuring timely and appropriate
intervention in a fast-paced environment. Treatment Planning:
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including
ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, relevant to the urgent
care setting. Procedural Care: Perform minor procedures and
interventions that align with the unique care needs encountered
during high patient volume periods. Team Collaboration: Work
closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
to coordinate care, especially during handoffs between shifts.
Documentation: Maintain precise and comprehensive records in
electronic health systems, ensuring continuity of care and
regulatory compliance. Adaptability: Quickly adjust to the dynamic
demands of weekend and holiday shifts, ensuring seamless patient
flow during peak times. Qualifications Licensure & Certification:
Must hold a valid state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner
along with current certification. Education: Master’s degree in
Nursing or a related discipline. Experience: Demonstrated clinical
experience in urgent care, family practice, or a similar fast-paced
clinical setting. Skills: Excellent clinical judgment,
communication, and teamwork abilities that ensure high-quality,
patient-centered care. Availability: Willingness and ability to
work exclusively on weekends and holidays in a high-demand
environment. ACLS certification required
