Job Description:

We are looking for a full-time relationship-centered family physician to add to our team at our near-site employer-sponsored primary care clinic in Bakersfield, CA.We provide high-quality, proactive primary care to adults and children in partnership with local employers or unions. We focus on prevention and wellness, acute and chronic disease management, and maximizing provider-patient relationships. We seek providers who are passionate about providing full-spectrum primary care resulting in top-notch clinical quality, outstanding service, and increased overall health outcomes.Position DetailsPatient population: employees and families of all ages down to 2 yearsSchedule: Daytime hours, 4-5 days per week (flexible based on candidate)We Offer Our Physicians:Average of 12-15 patients/dayCompetitive base salary bonusMore time spent with patients to enhance relationships and build trustFar less time with ICD-10 coding and admin work vs traditional primary care, and admin time is built into the schedule (no need to take home your work!)The opportunity to really improve patient outcomes with a finite patient panelBenefits:Five full weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO)CME reimbursed up to $3,000 per year, along with 40 hours of time off for CME purposes (pro-rated)Medical licensing and DEA fully reimbursedMalpractice coverage starting from day oneRegular provider meetings, such as journal clubs and grand rounds, for ongoing learning, development, and team collaboration
