Sonora, CA, USA Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Salary: $40 to $50 per
hour Shift - Day Shift Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate
and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical/Surgical unit in
Sonora, CA,. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care
to patients with a variety of medical conditions in a supportive
and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
nursing care to patients with diverse diagnoses, including
pneumonia, urinary tract infections, post-operative care, pain
management, fractures, and dementia. Monitor and assess patients
through vital signs checks, ambulation assistance, and support with
daily living activities. Titrate intravenous drips as needed,
primarily using Cardizem, while refreshing knowledge of policies
and procedures due to infrequent use. Collaborate with the Charge
Nurse for floor support; Charge Nurse typically does not take an
assignment but covers the ER as needed. Work alongside one patient
care technician each shift to assist with non-invasive duties such
as vital signs and patient rounding. Administer respiratory
treatments and educate patients on their care; manage breathing
treatments and chest physiotherapy as necessary. Qualifications:
Current RN licensure in California with required certifications;
BLS certification is required; ACLS . Strong communication and
