Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced
Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day ambulance operations,
ensure regulatory compliance, manage crews and dispatch flow, and
maintain high standards of patient care and professionalism. This
is a hands-on role focused on field operations, staff oversight,
and training support . This position serves as the key link between
dispatch, field crews, and management . Key ResponsibilitiesDaily
Operations Oversee daily ambulance operations including unit
readiness, staffing, and scheduling Ensure on-time responses and
proper deployment of units Monitor call flow and dispatch
efficiency Address real-time operational issues such as late calls,
staffing gaps, and unit availability Conduct shift checks and field
supervision as needed Crew Management Supervise EMTs, drivers, and
field staff Enforce company policies, protocols, and professional
conduct Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching
Address attendance issues, complaints, and disciplinary matters
when necessary Support crew morale and professionalism Training,
FTO & Onboarding Support Assist FTOs with new hire training,
onboarding, and orientation Ensure new employees are properly
trained on: Company policies and SOPs EMS protocols and scope of
practice Dispatch procedures and radio etiquette Documentation and
PCR requirements Participate in ride-alongs and competency
evaluations Identify training gaps and communicate needs to
management and FTOs Ensure smooth transition of new hires into
independent shifts Compliance & QA/QI Ensure compliance with County
EMS, state regulations, and company SOPs Assist with QA/QI reviews,
incident reports, and patient complaints Ensure accurate and timely
documentation (PCRs, trip sheets, logs) Support audits,
inspections, and regulatory reviews Dispatch & Communication Work
closely with dispatch to ensure appropriate unit assignments and
coverage Serve as an escalation point for operational issues during
shifts Maintain clear communication between crews, dispatch, and
management Ensure proper level-of-service delivery Required
Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) 5 years of experience in the
ambulance / EMS industry 2–3 years in a supervisory or lead
operational role Strong understanding of ambulance operations and
dispatch workflows Knowledge of EMS regulations and compliance
requirements Proven ability to manage crews in high-pressure
environments Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving
skills Preferred Qualifications Prior EMT, FTO, or Field Supervisor
experience Experience with onboarding and training new EMTs
Familiarity with County EMS requirements (LA County preferred)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred Experience with
CAD/dispatch systems and EMS documentation platforms Job Posted by
