Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts the x-ray equipment and determines proper voltage as well as current and desired exposure time for each radiograph. This position is represented by SEIU. /n Job Requirements: /n/n Education and Work Experience: /n /n - Associate's Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent: Required /n /n/n/n Licenses/Certifications: /n /n - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R): Required /n - Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required /n - Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required /n - Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required /n - Fluoroscopy (FLUORO): Required /n /n/n/n Essential Functions: /n /n - Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. Explains procedures to patients and answers questions. Prepares equipment for use as needed. Prepares examination rooms for patient exams. Positions patients for imaging exams. Monitors patients and ensures safety during exams. /n - Produces diagnostic images. Documents exam information.
