Job Description Job Description Job Title: Dermatology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Location: Bakersfield, CA Job Type: Full-Time (8 hours/day, Day Shift) Specialty: Dermatology About the Position: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing dermatology practice in Bakersfield, California . This is a full-time, day-shift position (Monday through Friday). Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive skin exams and dermatologic assessments Diagnose and treat a variety of skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, warts, and skin cancers Perform minor procedures such as cryotherapy, biopsies, excisions, and other in-office treatments Educate patients on skin care, sun protection, and treatment plans Document visits and procedures using EMR Collaborate with supervising physician(s) and other clinical staff as needed Participate in continuing education and training to maintain clinical knowledge and licensure Qualifications: Valid California NP or PA license Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Minimum of 1 year of dermatology experience preferred (medical, surgical, or cosmetic) Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities EMR proficiency Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Malpractice insurance coverage Paid time off (PTO) and holidays CME allowance and reimbursement 401(k) plan Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
