Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced OB Hospitalist for locum tenens coverage in Santa Barbara, CA. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and full travel accommodations. Description: We are seeking OB Hospitalists with a minimum of 4 shifts per month availability (up to 12 shifts per month available). Coverage is ASAP and ongoing , with 24-hour in-house shifts (times TBD). Providers must meet the following minimum requirements: 100 deliveries performed (not assisted) in the last 24 months 25 GYN cases in the last 12 months 5 major GYN surgeries performed in the last 12 months Board Certified preferred (will consider truly BE within 5 years of training) Active license and DEA required COVID vaccine required Practice Details: NICU Level: III Expected Patients per Day: 2–4 Facility Average Deliveries per Month: ~160 (OB Hospitalists average ~25/month) Case Mix: OB ED, unassigned deliveries Support: In-house Anesthesia and MFM on site Credentialing: ~60 days, expedited for clean files Schedule: Shifts: 24-hour in-house (TBD) Availability: Minimum 4 shifts/month (up to 12 available) Benefits: Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience and certifications) Housing and transportation needs covered.
