Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Location: Santa
Barbara, CA Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 AM –
05:00 PM) Job Responsibilities - Perform a wide range of
interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures,
including angioplasty, stent placement, thrombolysis/thrombectomy,
and vascular interventions. - Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures such as biopsies, drainages, kyphoplasty, paracentesis,
and thoracentesis. - Prepare, operate, and maintain imaging
equipment (Siemens and Phillips required). - Administer contrast
agents and monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring patient
safety and comfort. - Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the
healthcare team to support optimal procedural outcomes. - Maintain
accurate documentation within the Epic charting system and ensure
compliance with hospital protocols. - Participate in on-call
rotations and float as needed to support department operations.
Required / Preferred Information - Experience: Minimum 2 years of
Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab experience required. -
1st-time travelers accepted if they have 4 years of experience. -
Certifications: - Required: BLS, CRT (prior to start), Fluoro
Permit - Preferred: ACLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, NMTCB - Work Setting
Experience: - Required: Inpatient - Preferred: Outpatient, ER,
Level I Trauma, Community Hospital, Adult ICU - Equipment
Experience: - Required: Siemens, Phillips - Preferred: GE, Toshiba,
