TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in San Luis Obispo, California, 93401! Pay Information $2,982 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery/Postpartum required License: Required Certifications: ACLS Advanced Fetal Monitoring BLS COVID Vaccine Required NRP Must-Have: Experience in circulating for C-sections Experience with both Labor and Delivery and Postpartum Description: The unit has 9 Labor and Delivery beds and 4 Postpartum beds. An average of 55 births occur per month. Candidates must follow ACOG guidelines for ratios. Fetal heart monitoring system is utilized. Electronic medical records are maintained. Charge nurses will not take patient assignments. OB techs are available on both day and night shifts. Weekend commitments are required every other week. There is no call requirement for this role. Holidays are rotated with permanent staff. Scrub color is provided by the facility. Respiratory therapy is available 24/7. Pharmacy services are available on-call after hours. Standard shifts are from 6 AM to 6 PM. Floating between Labor and Delivery and Postpartum is required. Candidates must be able to care for high-risk deliveries. Patients typically are 34 weeks and above with important birth plans. Two years of experience in Labor and Delivery/Postpartum is preferred. Travel experience is also desired.
