The CNAs in the Float Pool will be assigned as needed to the following departments, MedSurg, Behavioral Health Unit, Telemetry, ICU/, e and Emergency Department.QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
  • Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
  • Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.
  • Minimum six months experience in an acute care hospital or Skilled Nursing to float to the Subacute unit, required.Facility Specific Requirements (facility May Require Items Listed Below)
    • Current De-escalation crisis intervention (DCI)) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current per facility requirement.La Palma Intercommunity Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $25.18. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
