We are a leading occupational medicine clinic focused on reducing healthcare costs and improving employee productivity. We provide urgent and appointment-based care for work-related injuries and illnesses, along with tailored rehab programs to support timely returns to work.Summary /ObjectiveAs a Staff Physician with us, you will enhance the patient experience by delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. You'll manage patient flow, deliver compassionate treatment, and communicate care plans effectively.Essential FunctionsDiagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, manage work restrictions, and support safe return-to-work plans.Conduct and interpret OSHA, DOT, fitness-for-duty, and return-to-work exams.Order labs, imaging, and referrals; prescribe medications as necessary.Perform minor procedures such as wound care and foreign body removal.Communicate treatment plans, test results, and follow-up instructions to patients, employers, and clinical staff.Ensure a smooth patient flow by coordinating with clinical staff and minimizing wait times.Maintain accurate, timely documentation in patient records and EMR.Provide support and supervision to clinical staff, including Physician Assistants, as needed.Respond effectively to emergencies and perform stabilization when required.Uphold HIPAA compliance, infection control, and safety protocols.Job duties may change to meet clinic needs.CompetenciesCandidate must have strong analytical and clinical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Detail Oriented.Collaboration Skills.Ethical Conduct.Thoroughness.Education/Experience/Skills MD or DO with unrestricted California license.DOT certification required (or obtain within 30 days of employment).BCLS, CPR, and AED certified; DEA and California drug licenses.Knowledge of OSHA, DOT regulations, and EMR experience.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Occupational Medicine strongly preferred.NOTE: This job description may not include all of the duties assigned to the employee and may be updated and modified by the department supervisor, according to the operations at any given time.The base salary is determined on the candidate's education, qualifications, and experience, and is subject to change based on various internal and external factors.We are an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
