$19.50 - 25.50 per hour depending on your skills and experience,
and employees who work at least 30 hours per week also receive

- We reimburse for gym and fitness expenses up to $600 per year,

-Home Health Aide, you will be a valued and respected member of our
home care team, working -under the supervision of a Registered
Nurse or Therapist and performing -various personal care services
to meet our -patients' needs. - Home Health Aides are -responsible
for observing and assisting -patients -and documenting observations
and care performed. - Home Health Aides promote -the quality,
continuity and safety of our patient -care. - - -Essential Job
DUTIES AND ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of the Home Health Aide
include, but are not limited to, the following:Providing personal
care including:BathsBack rubsOral hygieneShampoos Changing bed
linenAssisting patients with dressing and undressingSkin care to
prevent breakdownAssisting the patient with toileting
activitiesKeeping patient's living area clean and orderly, as
appropriatePlanning and preparing nutritious meals.Assisting in
feeding the patient, if necessary.Taking and recording oral, rectal
and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure
when ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills
competency)Knowledge of state, federal, local and accreditation
regulations pertaining to the delivery of home health services.
Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as an
extensional therapy service as ordered (with appropriate
completed/demonstrated skills competency).Assisting patient in the
self-administration of medication.Doing patient's laundry, as
appropriate.Meeting safety needs of patients and using equipment
safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, etc.).Reporting on
patient's condition and significant changes to the assigned
nurse.Adhering to the Organization's documentation and care
procedures and standards of personal and professional
conduct.Attends monthly meetings and in-services as required.All
clinical staff are also expected to participate as needed in
variable shifts, including weekend rotation per staffing needs and
departmental holiday rotation.Position QualificationsCurrent and
active California Home Health Aide Certification.Current CPR
certification.Licensed driver with insured automobile - in
accordance with state and/or organization requirements.Ability to
read and follow written instructions and document care
given.Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct
supervision.Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and
impaired.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to lift 50 lbs.Ability to
push/pull 200 lbs.Ability to transfer 170 pounds. Ability to stoop,
bend, and squat.Ability to walk up one flight of stairs.Ability to
walk one mile.Ability to sit for one hour, minimum.Visual and audio
