Come Work in Coastal California Today - Weekend Psychiatry Locums Job Details/Requirements: *Start 10/1/22 and ongoing for 2-3 or potentially all weekends each month. All onsite coverage, no remote tele health. *Weekend coverage doing daily rounds both Saturday and Sunday on the adult inpatient unit/PHF. *Start at 8am each day - typically, it takes about seven hours to do rounds depending on how many acute status patients are on the unit that day *No call. *16 bed adult inpatient unit. *Internist does the medical physicals for the H&Ps for new admissions *Average daily census is 16 patients, but will only see acute status patients on weekends *Average length of stay is approximately 7 days. *Electronic medical record system, so must be computer literate. *Takes about a month or so for credentialing. *Three month minimum assignments, at the very least.
