Central Coast Home Health and Hospice is a locally owned organization with an excellent reputation throughout the San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties. We are constantly growing and now seeking a full or part time Spiritual Counselor to join our team in the Santa Barbara area.Responsible for the provision of spiritual care services to patients and families/caregivers of Central Coast Hospice, either directly or through coordination of care with other spiritual counselors. Job Requirements:

• Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology (BD, Mdiv or equivalent theological degree). Experience working with death and dying, individuals/family/caregiver. -
• Minimum one (1) year professional work experience in spiritual counseling, ministry or other relevant experience
• Current and maintenance of valid Driver's License
• Maintain clean driving record and auto insurance coverage
• Reliable vehicle to drive during work hoursKnowledge/Abilities:
• Ability to work as member of interdisciplinary team/group.
• Comfortable in an interfaith setting.
• Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and values.
• Ability to network with community clergy and congregations.
• Knowledge of and commitment to hospice philosophy of care.
