Human Resources Director California Retina Consultants, a large specialty physician group headquartered in Santa Barbara, is seeking a Human Resources Director to join our Leadership Team We are a cutting-edge group of eye surgeons with 11 locations and 120 staff members dedicated to providing excellence in vitreoretinal care throughout central California. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position will: Be responsible for all aspects of HR strategy and execution, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, compensation, change management, benefits and employment law. Act as an advisor to all department heads for HR-related issues. Create and drive strategies to continually improve employee morale, job satisfaction, career progression and retention. Requirements for consideration include the following: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline. Five plus year's HR experience. PHR, SPHR certification preferred but not required. Track record of hands-on experience helping to build and execute all aspects of HR. Expertise in CA employment law, including hiring practices, EEO, EEOC, wage and hour. Previous Healthcare Human Resources experience a plus.
