Position: Program Director, Sr. (Oil & Gas)
Location: Bakersfield, CA
Duration: 3 months with possible hire
Preferred Education/Experience:

• 
  
• 4-year degree in Engineering (or related field)
  
• At least 25+ years of related work experience
  
• Broad general engineering background
  
• Previous project management experience on large-scope projects
  
• Professional Engineer registration

  • Proven management capability
    
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    
  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
    
  • Knowledge of current technology and engineering software
    
    Specific Responsibilities:
    
    
  • Represent the company with clients and subcontractors during project execution; negotiate scope changes; collaborate with Business Development to secure additional work.
    
  • Follow up on instructions and commitments; participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings.
    
  • Establish and oversee Project Execution, Health and Safety, Quality Assurance/Control Plans, and other documentation.
    
  • Develop program requirements and monitor deliverables for adherence; prepare project descriptions for team reference.
    
  • Plan, supervise, and control all project functions; assign responsibilities; participate in performance reviews and development of subordinates.
    
  • Mobilize resources, create effective project teams, and address project space requirements.
    
  • Develop budgets, schedules, and plans; ensure project goals are met or exceeded.
    
  • Devise and execute action plans for cost overruns, delays, or scope changes; inform management and clients; maintain change orders.
    
  • Promote technical and commercial excellence; monitor and report project progress and milestones.
    
  • Perform additional responsibilities as appropriate.
