Position Details:
Title: Project Manager Estimator
Location: Santa Barbara, CA
Shift:
Compensation: $ 85k - $100k + Bonus

Travel: Local between Ventura and Santa Barbara County. Will have gas card and car allowance

Position Description: Responsibilities Include:
Full knowledge and capability to manage commercial construction projects, bids, and estimating independently. At times, it may require meeting with clients and architects on new or design-build projects, so the ability to work interpersonally is key.
--- Manage commercial construction projects in the office and the field, from conception to completion.
--- Manage the pre-construction services process.
--- Determine estimated costs to fulfill building design and solicit pricing and schedules from sub-trades.
--- Collaborate with engineers (structural, mechanical, and electrical) to develop and execute plans.

Requirements:
--- 5+ years of project management & estimating experience in commercial construction.
--- Proven experience managing ground-up construction projects.
--- Proficiency in developing project schedules, with an understanding of critical path scheduling.
--- Proficiency in MS Project/MS Excel and experience in writing proposals, RFIs, and tracking submittals.
--- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
--- Degree in Construction Management a plus but not required.
--- Understanding of project budgets and cost planning.
--- Ability to solicit bids in a competitive market and write contracts and subcontracts.
--- Experience working with engineers - structural, mechanical, and electrical.
