open role for an experienced Regional Sales Manager or Sales
Director for the Americas Fire Channel for Seek Thermal. The exact
role, title, and responsibilities will be determined by the
experience level of the chosen candidate. The preferred location is
in the Western Region of the United States and will be located near
a major airport. ONLY CANDIDATES WITH FIRE INDUSTRY SALES
EXPERIENCE will be considered. The Regional Sales Manager is
responsible for the revenue growth and profitability of Seek's Fire
business for the Americas region. The Regional Sales Manager(RSM)
will drive revenue growth by managing the channel and sales
strategy for Seek's Fire Product line. The RSM will also be
responsible for driving revenue through new and existing Seek
channel partners throughout the region. This role can be home-based
with frequent travel expected across the territory and to Seek HQ
in Santa Barbara, CA. This is a player-coach role and will require
the RSM to manage multiple key accounts, generate new business and
provide a leadership and management presence to various Seek sales
resources, and a large team of manufacturer reps located across the
U.S. The RSM will be the face of the Seek brand with our
dealers/distributors and Seek end-users executing and managing all
sales, training, and marketing efforts for Seek Thermal.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Meet and exceed the assigned sales goals for
the territory. - Manage and lead the Americas sales organization of
1 Seek sales manager and 15-20 indirect manufacturer reps. -
Evaluate and appoint new dealer & distribution channel partners as
required. Motivating and working with the distributors to drive
demand of Seek Fire products. - Drive the Fire Sales Strategy for
Canada and LATAM. - Set up and agree on sales goals for the region
and your REP sales team. - Provide daily updates to Seek Thermal's
CRM and forecasting systems and any other reporting process
required by Seek. - Support the VP of Global Sales in delivering
Seek growth goals, with an outcome of meeting or exceeding
monthly/quarterly/annual targets. - Recruit, train, and manage
manufacturer representative partners, dealers and distributors in
the assigned territory to ensure delivery of sales targets. - Work
with customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the
timely and successful delivery of our products according to
customer needs. - Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly
initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. - Develop and
track key customer metrics. - Manage end customer trainings and
product demonstrations. - Be able to communicate the Seek Sales
Story effectively and efficiently. - Up to 75% Travel is required.
ROAD Warrior, loves traveling, and meeting firefighters and channel
partners every week. SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: - 5+ YEARS of
experience selling into the Fire industry. - Start-up or small
company experience is a plus. Wearing multiple hats and working
independently to get stuff done remotely. - Proven ability to
manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to
detail. - Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation
skills. - An aggressive sales hunter for new accounts and the
continuous growth of a sales pipeline. - Leadership experience to
support the growth, development, and success of your sales team. -
Channels sales experience. - Excellent verbal and written
communication skills. - Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and
delivering results. - Strong CRM, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, and
computer skills are required. - A high degree of self-initiative
and integrity is required. - A sales professional that builds
strong relationships based on trust and delivering on commitments.
- Experience in selling to industrial, thermal, or imaging is a
plus. - Ability to learn complex technologies quickly. - Ability to
combine a high degree of technical knowledge with good sales and
communication skills. - Talented in writing proposals, giving
presentations on company products and services, performing system
demonstrations, forecasting, and closing transactions. - Can
identify, qualify and capture long-term business. - Ability to work
cross-functionally with ease and build relationships with key
internal stakeholders.Requirements: - 5+ years selling in the
public safety FIRE market. - 5+ years in a sales leadership role
leading multiple direct remote sales reps or manufacturer reps - 5+
years of channel sales experience within the public safety/Fire
channel is required. - BA/BS degree or equivalent business
experience - Experience selling thermal imaging solutions
preferred. - Experience managing manufacturer sales representatives
preferred. - The preferred location is the Western U.S. and near a
