Description
We are looking for fantastic Assistant General Managers to help develop our team and assist our General Manager and Area Manager!

You will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the restaurant. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for providing clear and inspirational direction to the front of the house employees, kitchen employees, through leadership and best practices with strong interpersonal and mentoring skills. The Assistant General Manager must develop a cohesive team spirit and a high level of morale among the dining room and kitchen staff. The Assistant General Manager will promote a stimulating and inspiring work environment by motivating and effectively communicating to all employees.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities for front of the house, and back of the house
• Understands the philosophy of excellence and outstanding guest service that defines the company
• Supervision and development of all restaurant staff members and direct reports
• Provides exceptional guest service, and responds to all guest inquiries in a timely manner
• Supports the overall direction of the culinary program to maintain excellence in the food offerings
• Will assist with restaurant hiring, training, development Requirements
  • Managerial and operational experience in the hospitality field
  • Communicate with customers, co-workers and understand instructions
  • Lead and direct shifts
