Job Title: -Sr. Product Manager, Analytics

Reports to: - Sr. Director, Data Science

Location: - Goleta, CA The Role The Enterprise Analytics team is looking for a bright, motivated and collaborative Senior Product Manager, Analytics. In this role you will own a Scrum team's roadmap, work closely with business partners across the organization and help to shape a data driven culture. This individual will lead both the development of reports within a cross-functional team, and also deliver reporting, insights and analysis to internal customers on a set periodic basis. This nascent team values radical transparency and as a valued member you will have the agency to contribute to defining the long-term strategic vision making tangible impact at a rapidly growing company. Your Impact The two primary functions of this role are to deliver Analytics tools & reports as well as analysis of business measures and information. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Iteratively collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure the team's user stories are attentively positioned, understood and solve the business' needs
  • Manage expectations of executives and internal customers regarding scope and timelines of projects
  • Define and refine product backlog hand-in-hand with technical team members to drive consistent delivery
  • Collaborate with end users to build Tableau dashboards
  • Adapt to and prioritize changing business demands while minimizing impact to team's short-term focus
  • Think beyond the question by creating solutions that solve multiple problems and contribute to the long-term vision
  • Take ownership for the success of projects and proactively strive to support those around them
  • Effectively create and present product roadmap to an audience of varying levels of technical and business knowledge from developers to C-Suite executives -
  • Provide root cause analysis to support decision-making by effectively communicating and translating data and results into business insights and actions
  • Effectively share clear, concise, accurate information that caters to the levels of detail needed by recipients
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from other departments
  • Continuously work to create efficiencies and improvements within reporting, procedures, scheduling processes Who You Are
    • Complex critical thinker and have demonstrated the ability to creatively solve problems with measurable business impact
    • Have a growth mindset; you love solving challenging, fuzzy problems and making a meaningful difference for our business partners
    • Observable empathy and a willingness to meet others where they are at
    • Experienced in fashion, footwear, or retail industry We'd love to hear from people with
      • Background in multiple Supply Chain functions and have a deep understanding of demand planning, supply planning, transportation, and inventory management
      • Experience in a product management role with a data product, or leading analytics teams
      • Experience in an Agile or Scrum development team (Preferably as Product Owner)
      • Experience in design and implementation of data visualizations using Tableau
      • Demonstrated track record of breaking down ambiguous business problems into tangible components for Data Engineers, Analysts and Scientists
      • Strong communication and presentation skills in a cross-functional environment
      • Experience answering business questions through SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
      • Experience in the retail industry
