Job Opening: Technical Project Manager Milo Sensors is developing wearable alcohol sensor technology to enable new applications. The company supports fast-paced R&D where creativity and hypothesis testing drive development of patented technology. We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our efforts in front-end app development, electronic hardware, and back-end data processing. Position: You will join Milo Sensors, Inc. as a Technical Project Manager. Responsibilities: Your job will be to: Coordinate the company's efforts in firmware, electronics, and software projects Develop detailed specifications for product features Develop detailed plans and timelines for how to achieve engineering goals Help decide whether a project will be tackled by: hiring new team members hiring external consultants DIY Lead engineering projects by motivating internal team members and leading by example by tackling the most difficult challenges head-on Define scope-of-work for external consultants Obtain quotations from external vendors Ensure that projects stay on time and within budget Help manage suppliers and transition from in-house to external manufacturers Requirements 3 years of industry experience Software: Working knowledge of embedded firmware, iOS, Android, C, C++ Backend server: working knowledge of Ruby on Rails Electronics: Have designed/assembled simple circuits, familiarity with op-amps Firmware: Know how to read C / C++ embedded device code Outsourcing: now how to obtain quotes, write purchase orders, manage vendors Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Software) or Computer Science Biomedical, wearable, or device engineering experience a plus Agile project management experience Please email your resume and a 1 paragraph statement of interest to:
