Work closely under the Quality Manager, develop plans and conduct activities concerned with quality assurance with regards to customer standards. Single point of contact for customers at USM responsible for Quality information management to the customer. Requirements come from project or customer direct. Customer interface follow-up regarding on-time responsiveness and quality of response with focus on major customer issued problem-solving requests. Champion of customer supplier ratings on quality and delivery. Fluent in customer databases Portals. Becomes an expert of current customers portals. Has entire knowledge of customer specific quality requirements and has ownershipresponsibility to drive the organization work accordingly with training of divisional CQM, CQE and CQS. Provides audit requirements. Coordinates on-site sorting activities and any rework activity at the customer facility in relation with the internal activities. Monitors product quality and performance at customer sitess from shippingreceiving through line delivery and installation in conjunction with customer and feeder plants Quality Departments. Reports back to USM management team and escalates findings as appropriate. Develops suppliercustomer relationship related to quality rating and scorecards. Requests the return of the defective products and manage the parts at reception. Coordinates the problem solving for all customer quality concerns. Interfaces with the customer and the problem-solving team to ensure complete resolution of issues using the 8D process. Responsible for on-time responses per customer requirements. Coordinates the warranty activities at the plant and the related compensation claims in response to the customer requests. Escalates the product and process concerns. Supports the launches of new products at the customer locations. Ensures customer approval PPAP, PSW, ISIR... as part of the product on market approval. Responsible for acting on Customer rating and Scorecards im Skills Required
BA Degree with an emphasis is an electronics, technical or quality discipline. 8D strong problem-solving skills to meet critical deadlines. Strong communication and presentation skills. Proficient in MS Office. Skills Preferred
Exp with statistical analysis. Exp with TS16949 or VDA 6.3.
